I've recently installed RPM 3.0-6.0 and then found that kpackage didn't
work. So then I got the sources for kpackage, thinking that rebuilding
it with the new rpm-devel libraries would fix the problem. Unfortunately
when I ran the configure script for kpackage, I got an error saying that
it couldn't find a KDE demo program to test whether KDE was installed.

Does anyone know how to solve this problem?
