Help! I've just downloaded and installed kde 1.1.1 and most everything
works fine. The one noticeable problem so far is with system sounds.
Any .wav file played sounds as though it is in a poor echo chamber.
For instance the word "help" played as a wav file comes out
"he-he-he-el-el-el-p-p-p." Other types of sounds seem to be okay. For
instance, the cd player plays songs normally. Is there a simple fix, or
do I
need to uninstall and reinstall the sound rpm? TIA, Bob Gray
