Subject:    idea - screensaver shared library?

I am noticing something interesting while compiling kdebase 
snapshots. I'm watching my system compile the various *.kss
screen saver modules, and I'm noticing that there are a 
number of common objects (saver.o, xlock.o, helpers.o, 
xs_colors.o, and so on) that get linked into each and
every kss.

Wouldn't it be better to put these common object files into
a shared library (in kdelibs)?
