In my efforts to add 'startkde' to the .xinitrc file in /etc/X11/xinit
something went wrong.

When I type 'startx' at the # prompt, the screen flickers several different
colors then goes back to the # prompt with several error messages the last
being 'startkke: command not found'

Now, I can't even get to fvwm95 to attempt to correct the damage.

Any ideas short of reinstalling KDE?

Please remember, I am a newbie with almost all my previous computer
experience in x mode, not text.
