Any one care to help me get the KDESDK to work?
It doesn't configure ./configure fails.  Nobody seems 
to wan't to answer to these types of questions....

what is the point of a broken SDK?

If the KDE movement wants to gather developer support I suggest
they fix the SDK snapshot so that it will at least generate makefiles.
