I had about the same problems also, compiling the stuff on Solaris. *.moc
files not being created, undefined references to functions, etc. From the
latter I have no clue as to what is behind it, but this one I solved as
follows.
1. use a minimal path for compiling:
PATH=/bin:/usr/bin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/local/qt/bin
(with all gnu stuff in /usr/local/bin (including binutils))
LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/lib:/usr/lib:/usr/local/lib:/usr/local/qt/lib
2. Do NOT preset CC and CPP. I actually had undefined references when
setting these two. Let configure find it out itself.
(Very weird...)
