When I do a ./configure for the CVS version of kdelibs (981029), it has a
problem seeing that I have libtiff installed. It is actually installed, and as
far as I know, I have the newest version of the library. This is the error
configure is getting when it tries to check for libtiff:
configure:5108: checking for libtiff
configure:5124: g++ -o conftest -O2 -Wall  -s conftest.C -L/usr/local/kde/lib  \
                -L/usr/X11R6/lib -ltiff -lX11  1>&5
configure: In function `int main()':
configure:5120: warning: implicit declaration of function `int TIFFOpen(...)'
/tmp/ccc17605: In function `main':
/tmp/ccc17605(.text+0xe): undefined reference to `TIFFOpen'
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
 configure: failed program was:
#line 5115 "configure"
#include "confdefs.h"

#include<tiff.h>

int main() {
return (TIFFOpen( "", "r") == 0);
; return 0; }

Any help on this would be appreciated. : )
