I have tried to compile two different kde programs (kdpms and kvidtune)
and both times the configure script stopped with 'Can't find X. Fix the
paths.'

This is a standard RH5.1 installation with the usual X paths and links.
Also, the exixting paths for X are clearly visible in the configure
script. Kde works fine.

Can anybody tell me what this problem is please?
