Subject:    Keyboard oddness

I'm not sure where or when it happened, but my keyboard mapping under KDE
has gotten strange. The Backspace and the Delete keys are both producing a
"~" in Kterm and Backspace in non-functioning in Kedit.

Is there a keyboard map for KDE that might have gotten mixed up or is this
related to my X configuration (which hasn't been changed)?
