'm not sure about this one. There do seem to be different QT rpms
available which put the libs in different places. My libs are in /usr/lib
but many apps expect to find them in $QTDIR/lib. I have got around this in
two ways: Originally I edited the config or Makefile as appropriate to point
them at my kde libs. Recently I have set up a symbolic link in /usr/lib/qt
(this is my $QTDIR, includes are in /usr/lib/qt/include) called lib, which
points back to /usr/lib. This means any app looking in /usr/lib/qt/lib will
find /usr/lib.

I did also recompile QT from the source rpm. I didnt do anything more than
get the srpm, and run rpm --rebuild on it. This generates a binary rpm (I
forget in which directory, sorry) which can then be installed as normal.

I just realised...maybe you dont have the qt-devel (the development
version) rpm. You need this because the runtime only version doesnt have
the headers and libraries.

If this doesnt help, maybe someone else can? :-)
