Hi!

I have a linux 2.0.19 on i586. I have installed kde-0.12.1.i386.rpm. On 
startup, kde (I don't know which component) tells me:
creating /tmp/kde-core/opt/kdeapps in a box as well as /tmp/.../lib/pics and 
some other paths as well.

I cannot see any widgets or icons.

No PATH environment contains this /tmp/kde-core/

has anyone got an idea how to fix?
