Plasma Active is completely independent from this both technically and
design-wise. Technically it's independent because it does everything in
QML. From a design perspective it#s independent because it does things
differently anyway (starting with different invocation of context menus.
We may even remove them altogether at some point if we find a better
alternative). So PA could not use anything that comes out of this
directly. If it is done and it's successful, PA can use it as an
inspiration, of course :)
