I don't like idea of magnetic slider. It will make impossible to set 
zoom factors like 98 or 101% . Yeah, they can be used.

IMO better if it would work like current zoom-in, zoom-out icons on 
toolbar. Provide two small icons on both sides of slider for zoom-in, 
zoom-out and make *them* quasi-magnetic. Like always jump 10-20% but 
make extra stops for 100%, fit width, fit height. Or even make them jump 
only to some predefined values like in some older versions of Photoshop 
(don't know how behaves Navigator palette in newest versions).
