Hm. I think it would be nice with a combobox with some of the "common" zooms (50 %, 100 % etc.). If you've used Live Messenger, the "personal message" widget in the contact list  gives a fairly good picture of my vision. You can see a screenshot here, where the widget displays the text "<Type a personal message>". Well, it's kind of like Facebook's "status" widget too.

I'll try my best to explain it. Normally, it looks like a label with a arrow next to it. If you press the arrow, it shows a list (like a combobox). If you click on the text instead, it let's you input some text (like it currently does).

I'm not sure if the combobox function is needed here (although I personally would like it). More importantly, why do you have to right click to edit the value?
