From kde-usability Sat May 05 17:45:58 2007 From: Christian Schaarschmidt Date: Sat, 05 May 2007 17:45:58 +0000 To: kde-usability Subject: Re: New RecipientsPicker in kmail (KDE4) Message-Id: <200705051945.58899.schaarsc () gmx ! de> X-MARC-Message: https://marc.info/?l=kde-usability&m=117849868414597 Hi, the other day I had a discussion with Mathias on #kontact and we agreed that it would be best to get a third opinion. so here we go ... current beahviour in advanced mode: - select multiple persons from the list with Ctrl+mouse - move the mouse to one person and press e.g. CC --> only one person gets on CC-list not all selected persons to add mutliple person you have to press one of the buttons "add to cc" , "add to bcc" ... suggested behaviour: - select multiple person with Ctrl+mouse - move mouse to one person, the mouse over will show the "To,CC,Bcc" buttons on all selected persons, to make it clear that we are working with all of them - press e.g. CC --> all selected persons get selected as CC "add to ..." buttons can be removed Advantage, from my point of view ;-) - cleaner interface, less buttons - less confusion, for me at least, I don't have to remember that the per-line-buttons do not work for multiple selections so what do you think? is the new behaviour ok to implement?
