and yet it's meaningless and confusing.

the sort of people who will use ps and top and compare numbers will likely be 
able to sort it out. those that can't are probably much smaller than the 
number of people who rely either exclusively or primarily on ksysguard for 
these numbers. this latter group are, imho, the primary audience for 
ksysguard.

so i suggest going for "real world accuracy" and provide a way to add the VSS 
column for those who really want it to be there.
