Hi,

I'm cross posting to kde-devel and usability.. Sorry if this is bad
ettiquite.

I have recently added another column to ksysguard, "Shared" and
replaced the RSS memory column with "Memory".

The "Shared" column shows the amount of physical memory being used
to hold the code for any shared libraries.

The "Memory" column shows the amount of physical memory being used
to hold the memory for just this process. i.e. it's the RSS - Shared.
This has been dubbed URSS (unique RSS), but I don't how popular this
term is.

I would love to hide the column showing the virtual size. It's
almost meaningless, and users will misinterpret it.

The trouble is that RSS and virtual size have been around since
forever. Even the original abacus ps program showed them.

If ksysguard hides them by default, we might get people being
confused by ksysguard numbers don't match up at all with ps and top
etc.

Any suggestions on what to make the _default_?

John
