I didn't want to open a thread about "may I start threads" :-) I just wanted to report some usability issues I encounterd after some changes in kmail, and hear others opinions... but opinions about the problem, not about "users are not designers". I did not suggest any alternative design, I only said the kmail 1.7 aspect was more intuitive to me. The usability study may be good, but are you sure it was well implemented by the developers? I just would like to point this to you usability experts. Talking about this could be useless or useful depending on your attitude, if you think this is the wrong place to discuss about this sorry, as I said i didn't want to be inopportune.
