For those who have not heard of the Aktions Usability Toolkit:
"Computers have become a major aspect of everyday life, creating a need for
improved usage statistics. Aktions is a software development kit designed t=
o
gather this information. The software helps developers understand how well
their software meets user demand through an action-oriented perspective."
For those who expressed interest in the Aktions Usability Toolkit:
Aktions has entered the second spiral of development. We considered the
responses recieved from this list, and revised our perspective and the
project. We invite you to peruse the documents available on our website [1]=
.
Of particular interest are "Changes to the Aktions Project" and
"Requirements Document". Please respond to our revised outlook, so we know
that we're on the right track. :)
The third spiral of development will occur over the Summer, and will
incorporate feedback recieved by June 1st. We are particularly concerned
with what information is most relevent to usability. In addition, we need t=
o
know if we are collecting the correct information and whether anything is
missing.
The team is not familiar with most aspects of usability and HCI. We require
your feedback to improve our product. If you do not wish to reply to
kde-usability, then please use Open-Collab.org [2]. :)
Thanks,
-Zak Jensen
