My suggestion is just to change the *defaults* according to the profile, n= ot=20 hide or show more option. example: simple click vs double click: simple click seems better, but=20 windows user are used to double click. another example: beginner are confused when taskbar entry of windows of oth= ers=20 desktop are hidden, but the experimented users like it. one could ask our experimented user to send some config file that a script= =20 could parse so see what config expreimented user usually uses. I ask that= =20 because i often have lot of things to change on a new KDE before it becomes= =20 usable for me. Also, windows users are usually really used to some bad MS Windows default= =20 options and a default profile for thoses could be nice. --nextPart1631195.t9yOgTrAxd Content-Type: application/pgp-signature -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.2 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQBDVsbMz58lY8jWrL0RAuizAJ4i/W5tjTxbvNC5JwedUnIGVbnirACfUnL5 f9+fXdW7uCicaMLqqid2zLg= =kI0B -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --nextPart1631195.t9yOgTrAxd-- --===============0872077188== Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Content-Disposition: inline _______________________________________________ kde-usability mailing list kde-usability@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kde-usability --===============0872077188==--
