Considering how often we press the WONTFIX button and pretend a
problem does not exist? You bet!

Just kidding.   What I meant was that the problem might have
originated out of lazyness. "Look, let's just allow the user to do
whatever he wants with windows and let's get this over with". But no
big deal. Bye
