Especially with the pager set to display the desktop background, it just feels like I have a lot more control over all windows. However, I do have a few suggestions of things I would like to see different. Not all of them are new in KDE 3.5 though. I don't know if they are allready being worked on, so here goes: Kicker KCM: - The Appearance tab contains a button "Advanced options", which opens a new window, in which the Applet Handles visibility can be set. I feel this functionality is now duplicated, since you can lock the panels now (hiding the handles). - In the Appearance tab, the height of the selectboxes for the button backgrounds is greater than most other selectboxes. Personally, I think the entire "Button backgrounds" section can be omitted, but that's just me. Open file dialog: - If you RMB on an icon, the context menu contains the submenu "View", which allways contains the items "Zoom in" and "Zoom out". At first I didn't understand what these were for. After trying out several other things, I discovered that if there are images in the current folder, and thumbnails are enabled, they control the size of the thumbnails. I don't understand why these items are in the submenu of the open file dialog. They aren't even available in Konquerors contextmenus. If people really want to see a bigger thumbnail in this dialog, isn't the preview panel already sufficient? - The same goes for the option "View > Thumbnail Previews". This can be enabled or disabled in Konqueror, so why put it in a file dialog contextmenu? If it belongs in the file dialog, it should be in the "Configure" menu IMHO. Konqueror: - I think the RMB submenu in the file view panel should contain the "View > Sort" submenu from the toolbar. I find myself using this function quite often, so it should be easy to set this.
