Heh. The only thing gnome dialogs get right is idea of elimination of
horizontal scroll bar (and in many places they screwed up this too).

And this should be also implemented in KDE file dialogs. Horizontal
scrolling is PITA. Even in two scroll mice, second scroll wheel is
placed non ergonomic. 

I know, can use list view - maybe this could be default?

Oh, and definitely, in list view sizes should be in human readable form.

BTW - nice idea, never thought about maximization. :)
