And > alt-f4 is not really THAT easy to trigger unwantedly - which of > those "normal users not needing alt-f4" use any keyboard shortcut > so similar to it anyway? > > No, sorry that's just silly. good, let's try to get something out of this thread it is definitly not a usability task to take care of typing erros of certain people (certain people not for race or religion but yes because some people confuse alt and ctrl and others ins and del) certainly any shortcut is a risk like you well said here before, the risk is obviously measured by keyboard and "finger" skills and ability of the user in question but to get it more clear, shortcuts are a risk but are still more facilities then any else also in KDE any user can change any shortcut to his capabilities or skills or handicaps or even likes means that KDE is offering like most other OSs a perfect interface to fit any personal needs in terms of keyboard shortcuts so even if the thread was not exactly silly it was useless (superficially seen) for not going anywhere at the end but may be some here is able to see an abstraction cutting out the keyboard-issue looking only at the different inputs to get another view of this thread but may be not -- J.M. _______________________________________________ kde-usability mailing list kde-usability@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kde-usability
