 Other features like what? Focus follows mouse? I thought everybody using that 
knew it has some principal issues.

 I started using the standalone menubar about 3 years ago and I have kept 
using it since then, according to CVS log for kmenubar.cpp (yes, it got 
broken at times, and I had to fix it if I wanted to use it). Guessing from 
the number of people asking for the ability to add applets to it and similar, 
I'm probably not the only one using it.

 Isn't this like with everything else in KDE? Either it's used and somebody 
will take care of it, or not, and then this doesn't matter.
