I try the Mac-style menubar every couple of months and always its either
completely broken or simply unusable due to other features not working
together with it. Not to be harsh; but quite fundamental changes in usage
need a lot of maintenance in out rapidly evolving desktop environment.
Are you going to use this feature quite often? If not then how are we going
to be sure it still works, and is usefull in 6 months time..
That said; I still have to try the patch and see what it feels like. So
don't immidiately take this as a negative reply, but just a concern of
mine. More features is not always bad; I'm a bit concerned about the
tradeoff on feature-maintenance v.s. usufullness.
