I find awkward that in all major mail clients (including Kmail),
ordering messages by thread is a separate option buried in the menu
instead of a column field like Date, Subject or Sender.

Is there a reason for this different interface? Would it be better to
have a Thread column so that grouping by thread would be done by
clicking on it, the same than with any other field?
