Yes, it's possible.
It was just some toughs.
And since "DND address" is doable by dragging the addressbar icon, have
DND tab the primary drag action is way better!

So,

               | LMB DND           | MMB DND
               | Primary drag      | Alternate drag
---------------|-------------------|------------------------------
Konqueror tabs | Move tab          | DND address
Kicker icons   | Move icon         |
Kopete         | Move meta-contact | Move "underTheMouse" contact

The question of how MMB DND is discoverable however still here...
