And what about putting this information on the statusbar of Konqueror just the amount of Gb/Mb left)? Nautilus do that (but its layout is annoying since it hide the total space used by the folder). The only problem is when you want to move files to the desktop, or something that don't need a Konqueror window openned. It can be a plus!
