Changing between sorting by name and by date already exist in the 
right click menu. By frequency doesn't, would rock and should be 
possible with little changes since the number of times something (at 
least 'internet' files) is accessed is already logged.

Something else which may be a good idea is additionally sorting (or 
filtering) all files and folders per KIO slaves into separate 'root' 
folders, like 'local files' (file:/), 'internet' (http://), 'remote 
files' (ftp:// etc.), 'shortcuts' (stuff like gg:, imdb:, bug: etc.).
