_____Published Paper_____

A tale of two notations: a comparative evaluation of UML and matrices as
representations for validating domain knowledge

Mature user experience design methods rely on acquiring and validating
knowledge of essential elements and relationships within the domain of
interest. This study compares the effectiveness of two distinct
representations of domain knowledge, UML models and matrices, as a
medium for validating such knowledge with users competent in abstract
critical thinking.

What you need to know about IBM Workplace

IBM Workplace extends the strength of your back-end systems to the front
end. It does so through a family of products and technologies that help
deliver server-managed clients of choice, supporting multiple user types
and user experiences, across a wide range of access points and forms of
connectivity. This gives your end users flexible and cost-effective
access to people, business processes, applications, and content. Figure
1 shows how IBM Workplace, and its server-managed clients, make this
integration transparent to your end users.

_____User Technologies_____

Creating Accessible Sites with IBM aDesigner

A problem exists with most web sites on the Internet—they lock out
anyone with any kind of special needs. Unfortunately, many developers
are unaware of the problem. Those who are aware of the problem usually
end up using mediocre tools that they can download free, or expensive
accessibility applications that are overkill for many situations. IBM's
aDesigner provides a middle ground. This tool is extremely easy to use,
yet quite capable. With aDesigner, you can address most problems that
crop up on web sites.
