I've checked that today again (on native gui):

it's never accepted

no, I know no GUI that do this

That's Qt behaviour enabled for Qt/X11 and Qt/win, but it's currenty disabled
for Qt/mac. And that's why I propose to enable this for KDElibs/Unix and
KDElibs/Win32 (and not for KDElibs/mac).
