That's probably the best idea I've heard for quite a while, because it 
actually tells the user what they are closing rather than assuming that they 
will just know. It also gives you some indication of what happens.

Yes, I know users can learn how sort of thing works, but it isn't great for 
new users and it isn't great for existing users either, as most actions are 
subconscious a lot of the time.
