The outmost left button could show the devices.

why?
1) easy one-click-navigation
2) no need for up-, back-button and locationbar
3) makes it much easier to see, understand and memorize  the folderhierarchy.

Search:

I don't think there is a need for an additional searchbar. 
 JUKE  has all you need:  Find-as- you-type all files which have the entered 
letters *anywhere* in the filename 


Who needs a reload button in the file selector?
