It's my best guess. Usually, with tree lists, there's no way to see the child 
items of an item without expanding it. Usually, a parent item is unaffected 
by showing / hiding its children. This is different, hence I think it will 
cause surprise. But I don't think that necessarily makes it a bad choice 
usability-wise.

It's possible we could do one better and have an animation of the icons moving 
over :)

Making sure their sizes follow the KDE SmallIcon settings is on my TODO.
