There's one usability issue that always bothers me once I decide to clean up
my harddisks again - I can't easily see what's the contents of a Konqueror
(file-management) window with just a glance at it's Kicker bar if I have
several windows open.

Right now I have 17 windows open - which shouldn't be all that uncommon.
there's instant messaging (one main window, one chat), an ftp site, news
agreagator, websites and several filebrowser windows... if you look at many
user's desktops thats not very unusual - though I wouldn't doubt many will
say theirs is much cleaner...

Anyway i can't differentiate between all the open Konqueror instances just by
looking at Kicker. All of the 7 or so window-titles either start with
"file:/mn" or "file:/ho" - so I'm browsign some directories below ~/ and
some below /mnt/.
There are far deeper hierarchies below that and to see what a window really is
about i have to either open it and have a look or hover the mouse over kicker
for a tooltip. Very time consuming.

This is on a display that's 1280 wide and with point 8 non-anti-aliased fonts.

I have filed a bug report here:
http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=85925

Maybe some agree with me on this and support the bug.

if there already _is_ a solution to my problem I'd naturally like to hear
about it.. I couldn't find anything this far.

Greetings,
Chris
