The problem is "CRTL-F" shouldn't be bound everywhere. Whatever the users
sets to "Find" one place should be "Find" every place. However, there are
multiple actions which are find, so it's not quite the same as having one
option in the application tab of the shortcut KCM. Is it possible to make a
couple other actions (Find File in KFM) sync with that action?
