Yes, this has been discussed and rejected, because each stat() would have to 
do another stat() on a CVS subdirectory, and an open() + read() whatever to 
verify whether it is really a CVS directory.

Note: Cervisia is a really special view, in fact so special that it deserves a 
button of its own. Furthermore, only developers will install it, so the 
normal user is not affected.
