"View document source" always opens the currently displayed html/xml document in an instance of the kde-wide default text editor. "Preview in ..." is a list of *all other kparts* that also accept the currently displayed document's mime type. katepart only happens to accept text/html per chance, that's why it appears as a previewer component. If you deinstalled kate/kwrite, your "Preview in" problem would be solved. I, for example, have three "Preview in" entries for a default web page: Preview in -> Embedded Vim Component Editor Component MOZILLA All these kparts accept documents of the type text/html *additionally* to khtml which is the default for text/html. Hence, neither "View document source" nor "Preview in" must be removed from konqueror's context menu. mfg Leo -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.6 (GNU/Linux) Comment: For info see http://www.gnupg.org iD8DBQFAZvMPj5jssenUYTsRAqyjAJ9J/Q5m1EajqJQfBNhYT0T/efMdmACdF0+A e741iMB+nXK/BN0kROwIDJ4= =N9qp -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ kde-usability mailing list kde-usability@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kde-usability
