I agree : KDE configurability is an adventage !
And I don't like others DEs (on Linux or other OSs) because I can't use
ALL the powerful features KDE has (and I'm so feel limited,
constrained).

I don't want features to be removed (unless they have been introduced to
solve a now resolved problem).

Config windows must be done clearely (and, FIRST OF ALL, provide a
Shift+F1 help for ALL config options, well writen to understand what's
purpose of options).
Eventually with a noticable separation between "vitales and needed by
most users" features (on top) and "other features for fine tunning" (but
needed for some users) (on bottom of config dialogs/list)...
