What does everybody think about the idea of having simple Pause/resume
functionality for KIO windows? This was filed as a wishlist awhile ago but
it was closed under the rationale of "KGet supports this." The problem is
that KGet is a bloated solution for many users, and it only integrates with
Konqueror.  As you well know, KIO functionality is not limited to Konqueror;
it may be used in practically any application. The pause/resume feature is
needed because, among other reasons, many people do not have persistant
network connectivity. Just a thought.

Another cool feature would be to keep a central database of failed,
exclusively-requested downloads so that e.g. a download could be resumed just
by right clicking on the .part file.
