Hmm don't know what to tell you. I did a search on bugs.kde.org and the only 
bugs I found like this were in really old versions of KDE ( < 3.0 ). The only 
thing I can suggest is upgrading to a newer version.  Also try posting on 
kde@mail.kde.org.
