I am of the opinion that the Mozilla stepping is ideal, and originally I
adapted it for the visible zoom action. But no consent could be reached on an
optimal stepping, hence this two-pronged approach.
The big stepping is a really big stepping to make those font-size:2px sites
readable immediately. It is bigger than that of Mozilla, tough.
fwiw, I agree with using only one stepping resembling that of Mozilla.
However, this will upset all those people who got used to the old stepping.
