Just to boost developpers' confidence, I point to a KDE review by an OS X
user who knows quite a lot about UI and usability:

I also point to a review of KDE by a well-known GNOME biased reviewer:

IMO she is wrong in many aspects but some of her suggestions are worth
discussing.

There is one point I don't see. So many are trolling about Keramik and the
"cluttered" UI. I think this colourful theme appeals to most newbies; I
watched many of those first-time Linux (usually Knoppix) encounters, with
people dropping their jaws "whoa...". These people also like the multitude
of buttons displayed which gives them a feeling about the application's
capabilities. BTW, people in this country usually have a 1024x768 screen
resolution, with which the toolbar icons of all the applications I used
fit fine onto the screen.

There are a multitude of favourable KDE reviews out there, and their number
is ever increasing.

Keep up the good work!

Mark
