I'd like to propose some changes to the default Web Browsing view based
on the idea that only most often used functions require a toolbar
button, and that only a limited number of toolbar buttons may be used.

When a user browses the web he/she:

Opens Konqueror.
Types the URL into the URL bar / Selects a bookmark from the Bookmarks
menu / Uses his/her default Homepage to clickthrough to the desired page
(with corp. intranets this is done very often).
Reads the webpage and/or follows a link to a different page.. and so on.
Closes Konqueror.

This is how it usually works. So we optimize for this situation, because
we have limited space available on the toolbar.

So we need easy access to:

- urlbar
- bookmarks
- default homepage

.. and because no one is without fault and internet gives no guaranty
that a link will bring you to the content you where looking for, we need
some basic navigational controls to make minor corrections.

So following the tradditional toolbar setup found we have:

[Back] [Forward] [Refresh] [Stop] [Home]
[URL bar]

.. and the bookmarks menu, because it's the most practical solution.

Now because the toolbar has a large amount of space available you could
combine it with the URL bar.

.. or you could provide more toolbar buttons. But we have already
confirmed that most people won't need them often enough to warrant
making them as easily accessible as the previously mentioned functionality.

Thoughts?
