Hmm. I think that the main thing is, we should be consistent in whatever we go 
for. I appreciate that the current policy is to use each word in its 
appropriate place, but it seems that users are confused by the current policy 
(according to the Relevantive usability test).

I think this is more important than the choice we make. Personally I prefer 
"folder" as more intuitive, but I would accept "directory" if it can be used 
everywhere.
