-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 I'm currently working on bug:50168 (korganizer), and I need some user input on the behavior of the tab key in the edit events dialogbox. I'm actually not sure if we should "solve" the tab problem described in the bug report. With QTextEdit it is possible to use TextEdit::setTabChangesFocus(bool b) to achieve what the bug reporter wants to have (namely that when editing the extensive event description, the tab key jumps to the next control in the dialogbox instead of entering a tab key). Sometimes, I find this problem also quite annoying, when I want to walk through the controls using the tab key. As soon as you reach a text edit, you are stuck there, and pressing tab doesn't get you to the next control. So using setTabChangesFocus(true) might not be such a bad idea. On the down side, however, sometimes you might want to enter a tab in the description, so disallowing tabs at all in the text edit is probably too radical. What do you think?
