The problem with a font: KIO handler is that most people will never find it 
and just use KControl which is the logic place to search for font stuff. It 
may be interesting for advanced user though, but I don't have a clue about 
font handling...
You should definitely mention this feature in KControl, possibly in a 
KActiveLabel with a link to "font:/" (I love help texts with links :)
