Please note that the screenshot is a few days old, single-line items now have 
horizontally centered text. 

I don't know whether text at the top of the item would look better, but this 
could be a problem for multi-day items: their top is usually not visible. If 
you can reach consensus (also with the KOrg maintainers), I don't mind to 
change it...
