Hello list,

I was wondering if there has been any discussion or perhaps a bug on how the
menu applet embedded in a child panel is very non-userfriendly due to not
being able to access menu items by moving the cursor to the top-left, or even
just the top for that matter.

In the first case the child panels 'handle' gets in the way.

In the second case the child panel has padding at the top and bottom of it's
body. This is most likely to blame on the menu applet, which should expand
it's height to fit the height of the child panel.
